The Indiana Department of Homeland Security warns you to stay away of local weather reports and changing conditions.
“Flexibility is key to these types of situations,” Erickson said. “Assess plans, especially if you have to travel or be outdoors. Cancel them if necessary for safety.”

Drive Around Flood Water:
-Don’t drive through flood water.
-Obey signs closing roads.
-Obey local public safety officials.
-If possible, avoid driving in hard rain. Wait until the storm passes if possible.
