IDEM Offers Free Tests on Well Water

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is looking for volunteers who would like to have their drinking water wells tested for contaminatnts, free of charge.

IDEM will use the data for their 2015 Ground Water Assessment Survey. Anyone who decides to have their water quality tested will help IDEM evaluate changes to the environment.

The more Indiana residents who participate, the more information IDEM will have on the quality of water in the area.
