Huntington Drive-In Under New Ownership

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO):  The Huntington Drive-In has new owners this season.

According to the Journal Gazette, the 12-acre lot on Condit Street has been owned by John and Nellie Detzler since 2001. The Drive-In  has new owners, who recently purchased the property that was up for sale since 2013.

The Drive-In was established in 1950 and will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year. Moving forward, the theater will soon have a digital projector installed for guests this summer.

Detzler told the Journal Gazette his family is relocating to Colorado.
