Huntington County Commissioner Floyd “Tom” Wall Indicted on Seven Counts of Misdemeanor Battery

Huntington, Indiana-A grand jury in Huntington County has just returned a seven count indictment against current Huntington County Commissioner, 59 year old Floyd “Tom” Wall on misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an Indiana State Police investigation that was initiated this past spring.

According to Sergeant Kathy Robbins and Detective Jeff Boyd, allegations were made by “several women” that Wall had inappropriately touched them at different times over the last year-and-a-half.  Those allegations prompted Huntington County officials to contact the Indiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division at the Fort Wayne Post and an investigation was promptly initiated this past spring.

In June, Boyd concluded and turned over his investigation to Special Prosecutor DJ Sigler, Chief Deputy Prosecutor in Whitley County who had been chosen to oversee the case.  After reviewing the case, Sigler convened a grand jury which returned the seven count indictment late this afternoon.  Wall is scheduled to turn himself into authorities at the Huntington County Jail this evening.
