Monday, Sept. 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Thankfully, some restaurants are giving away some free food.
Anyone who talks like a pirate at Krispy Kreme will get a free original glazed doughnut.
While anyone who dresses like a pirate will receive one dozen original glazed doughnuts.
Also, this year guests can use the custom Krispy Kreme Snapchat pirate filter to digitally dress like a pirate. Anyone who shows a picture with the Snapchat filter will receive a dozen original glazed doughnuts.
Unfortunately, the closest Krispy Kremes are in Mishawaka, Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio.
Long John Silver’s is also celebrating International Talk Like Pirate Day with free food. Anyone who says, “ARR I’ve come to plunder me free fish!” or “Ahoy, matey! I’ve come for me free fish of chicken tender!” will get a free piece of Alaskan whitefish or piece of chicken.
Anyone who dresses like a pirate (must be wearing three pirate items) will get a free two-piece fish basket or chicken.
