FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A house fire that erupted at 3012 Pittsburgh Street Tuesday morning, remains under investigation.
Fort Wayne firefighters were called to the blaze at 10:24 a.m.. Once on the scene, crews discovered heavy smoke coming from the back of the home.
A well-coordinated and aggressive attack resulted in the fire being extinguished within six minutes of arrival. No one was home at the time and fire damage was confined to the kitchen area. No injuries were reported, but investigators are still trying to figure out, how the fire got started.
