Hoosiers have less than a week until open enrollment for Health Insurance…

INDIANA (WOWO): Obamacare marketplaces are just days away from launching and the next few months could be busy for uninsured Hoosiers.

For the past three years, health care reform has been a hot topic and several people have questions. WOWO news spoke with Health Care Expert, Mark Hatcher, to help break down the basics of Obamacare.

“The ones that really need to think about it (Obamacare) out of the box starting October, 1st, will be any individual that is under age 65 that is currently not provided health insurance by their employer or that is carrying an individual health plan.”

For example, that includes small business people, just about everyone who works in the restaurant industry and individuals in the retail field.

The open enrollment process begins October 1st 2013 and closes March 31st 2014. For more information about Obamamcare, stay tuned to WOWO tomorrow morning, for another segment on the Nuts and Bolts of Obamacare.
