Homeowner’s Tip Leads to the Arrest of 3 Burglary Suspects

Residents of a home on Autumn Woods Trail called in a robbery that led to the arrest of three men.

According to the Journal Gazette, just before 7:30 a.m., on Saturday, officers got a call about a burglary-in-progress from the homeowners on Autumn Woods Trail, near St. Joe Center and Reed roads.

The residents saw three men in the house who ran when they were spotted and drove off in a white Pontiac.

Later, police saw a car matching that description near St. Joe Boulevard and Tennessee Avenue. They tried to pull the driver over, but he never stopped.

Then the chase was on, but it quickly ended on Delaware Avenue, where the three men got out of the car and took off running. Officers caught up with all three of them shortly after.

The men are identified as 19-year-old Dylan Lenegar, 18-year-old Caleb Saylor-Hicks,and 20-year-old Seth Keel.

They were each booked into the Allen County Lockup on a preliminary felony charge of burglary.
