Home Robbery on Arlington Avenue

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police responded to a 911 hangup call on Arlington Avenue just after 4:00 A.M. this morning. While police were en-route, they were told that on callback, the caller said someone was in his house. An officer saw a grey van parked on a side street with its headlights and flashers on, located on South Wayne, near Foster Parkway. A man was standing by the vehicle holding something. Police cleared the house and spoke to the homeowner, who said he was woken by voices in the downstairs. His laptop, cash, credit card, and house and car keys were missing. Units began looking for possible suspects. One officer spoke with a paper delivery driver, who said he had seen two young black men on bicycles leaving the area as police got to the scene.
