Home & Garden show set for February 28 – March 3

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The 46th Annual Fort Wayne Home and Garden show starts this week.

The event will include over 650 exhibitors, Sand sculptor Ted Siebert, Elite Performance K9s, The Hoosier Gardener Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp, Master Gardeners seminars, and more.

Exhibitors feature products or services for all aspects of the home, such as interior decor, bedding, windows, siding, roofing, kitchen, bath, landscaping, gutters, patios, and driveways.

There will be hourly $100 “show buck” giveaways.  A random winner will be selected to receive $100 in “show bucks” that can be spent on any item at the show.

The Family Fun Area has a fairy tale theme this year.  It will feature animals for kids to pet, get the pictures taken with characters, watch martial arts and dance demonstrations and learn how to make a balloon creation.  The Family Fun area is also home to a stage that will feature Elite K-9 Performance shows, Indiana Wild animal shows, and All-Star Martial Arts shows.

Chainsaw carver Paul Moon will demonstrate his art by doing live carvings throughout the show.

The show starts Thursday, February 28 and goes through March 3 at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum.  Hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.  For more details, you can go to the Home and Garden Show website by clicking here.
