Holloway Sentenced to 16 Years for Child Abuse

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man who abused two toddlers so badly he ripped the hair out of their heads will spend more than a decade behind bars.

A judge has sentenced 27-year-old Michael Holloway to 16 years in prison on child battery charges in a plea deal that waived two counts of neglect. Holloway and the mother of the two boys, 27-year-old Amber Cochran, were both arrested after the father of one of the boys, age 3, had the child for a visitation weekend and noticed the abuse. The other boy, a 2-year-old, had been hurt so badly there was blood that had pooled into the area below his eyes, according to the Journal Gazette.

Holloway will also have to serve probation and is ordered to get his GED while doing so. Cochran is still facing neglect charges.
