Heavy Deer Activity a Problem for Drivers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Drivers from all over the listening area have have been reporting heavy deer activity on the roadways. Allen County dispatch tells WOWO News that deer have been the cause of several accidents over the last few days. During Time Saver Traffic this morning, there were two reports of car/deer accidents on the city's southwest side.

The Indiana DNR says fall is peak season for deer-related vehicle accidents and drivers should remember to drive defensively. They say deer are most active between sunset and sunrise.
