Health Department Making Back-to-School Easier on Parents

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Health Department is making back-to-school time a little easier on parents by by offering free school supplies as a part of National Immunization Awareness Month.

For the rest of this week and next, the Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health will be providing items such as crayons, pencils, highlighters, and jump drives to all school-aged children who receive a vaccination.

Beginning this school year, all Indiana students in kindergarten through 12th grade will need two doses of varicella (chickenpox vaccine).
