Health Commissioner disputes school board’s quarantine ruling

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County’s Health Commissioner is challenging a local school board’s authority to set its own COVID-19 quarantine rules.

Earlier this week the Southwest Allen County Schools board declared that “close contacts” wouldn’t have to quarantine if both they and the infected person wore masks during their exposure.

Allen County Health Commissioner Dr. Matthew Sutter tells the Journal Gazette that’s against rules that are set at the state level, saying “neither the local school boards nor local health departments have the authority to create less stringent rules than the state.”

The state’s rule is that the only way close contacts in schools don’t have to quarantine is if everyone in the classroom is wearing a mask at all times.

Yet again, its about power and control. Ultimately, the parents should be able to tell the school board what to do, then the school board sets the parents’ rules.

But no, the typical 1 size fits all approach from big government and even worse, Unelected Bureaucrat MORONS.

All the school boards need to ignore these state morons and do what the majority of parents want them.

Furthermore, school money needs to stay local. No more trickle down school funding from power hungry Morons and unelected POS that impose restrictions that do nothing.

“both they and the infected person wore masks during their exposure.” sounds like they do have a mask on. The only way to have a mask on at exposure is to have it on before the exposure unless someone can predict when the exposure is going to happen and put the mask on at that time. I do not see a contradiction here with the intent of the states rule.

The problem is the uber-weasel Holcomb has bribed all the school boards with MONEY from the Covid fund. We became a great country with LOCAL control of our government and schools. 100 years ago an 8th grade education was far superior to today’s average high school graduate. Abraham Lincoln and other founders, (yes I know Lincoln wasn’t a founder) talked about the best government being the closest to The People. We need to keep it that way. So the local school board is better than a county or state UN-ELECTED health Nazi. They are accountable to no one while the school board is accountable to parents. The city or county government is much more responsive than the state government. The state government is vastly better than the federal government. Mostly this is all because of distance. Who do you trust, your own doctor or the fake doctor Anthony Fauci or the fools at the various health departments?

It’s all about who get to control us. I chose myself and self control. How about you???
