Guilty Plea In 1998 Fort Wayne Murder

Bernard McClaney, an Ohio inmate, has pleaded guilty to the murder of a Fort


Wayne man. McClaney admitted to the 1988 shooting death of 19-year-old Arthur


Rittenhouse III inside his Fort Wayne home.



 

According to the Journal Gazette, DNA found on a bag at the scene was consistent


with McClaney’s, according to court documents.




Under the terms of a plea agreement with prosecutors, McClaney’s sentence will be

capped at 55 years, according to court documents. 

McClaney will be formally sentenced Feb. 8th
