Grand Opening of Huntington Pizzeria Delayed, After Arsonist Sets Fire to Building

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): The opening of a Huntington pizzeria will be delayed after someone set fire to the building.


Jimmy Pop's Pizza Shop on Market Street had an employee meeting around 6:00 p.m., Monday ahead of their grand opening on Tuesday, October 21st. However, around midnight, an arsonist entered through a back door and set the building on fire.


An employee of the pizza shop says the damage was mostly contained to a stockroom. Clean up efforts have begin with help from the community:


Owner Clifford Coon hopes they can hold the grand opening in a few days.
