Governor Honors Indiana Businesses for Longevity and Community Service

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Monday evening, Governor Mike Pence honored 12 Indiana companies for longevity and community service by awarding them the Governor's Century Business Award during the Indiana Historical Society's Founders Day Dinner.

The 12 Indiana companies received Century Business Awards for being in business a minimum of 100 consecutive years.

Nominated by individuals or organizations within the same community, the award honors Indiana's well-established companies and their outstanding contributions to the economic growth and prosperity of the state.

“By remaining dedicated to constant improvement and committed to founding principles, the roots of these 12 Hoosier businesses extend deeply throughout the communities they call home,” said Governor Mike Pence. “Their perseverance is a testament to the work ethic and drive that make Indiana a state that works.
