Georgetown Little League Vandalized

FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): Sometime over the weekend, between Saturday night and Sunday morning, facilities at Georgetown Little League were severely damaged.

According to a Facebook post on Georgetown’s Little League Facebook page, nearly every field, light, and scoreboard had its wiring cut and/or removed. At least 3 sections of fence have been cut or removed and there is a list of items needing repaired.

As of right now, it’s unknown how long it will take to repair all the damaged facilities.

There is a scheduled maintenance day this Saturday and in perpetration for Opening Day on April 20th, the folks with the Little League Board are asking for help from anyone who has the skills that allow them to lend a hand with the electrical or fence repairs. If you would like to help, you can contact Nik Gigli at 409-7926.
