FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Gas prices are slightly higher in Fort Wayne over the past week.
Patrick DeHaan of GasBuddy.com says average retail prices rose about 10 cents a gallon, averaging $1.88 per gallon yesterday, according to a survey of about 200 gas outlets in town. It's the same price in South Bend and a penny less than Toledo and Kalamazoo, and 12 cents less than the national average.
Gas price hikes in California due to refining issues are keeping prices nationwide from falling even more, and experts are anticipating that'll still be the case going into the new year.
