Garrett Girl Injured in DWI Accident

GARRETT, Ind. (WOWO): A three-year-old girl was injured in an drunk driving accident Wednesday in DeKalb County.

The driver of the car was her mother.  

According to the Journal-Gazette, 23-year-old- Erin Tarlton was arrested after she tested twice the legal blood-alcohol level.

Tarlton struck a parked vehicle on South Hamsher Street in Garrett.

The little girl was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital. Her condition was not released. Another child, a five-year old was not 

injured according to police.
