FWPD serve “high risk” search warrant at Tennessee Ave. home, three arrested

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Three people were arrested Tuesday after Fort Wayne Police served a high-risk search warrant at a home on Tennessee Avenue.

The investigation began several weeks prior after witnesses reported seeing several juveniles carrying guns, and after receiving reports of shots being fired in and around the home.

During the search, detectives found paraphernalia associated with marijuana usage. They also found a loaded Beretta 9 mm handgun that had recently been reported stolen, and a 223 cal. assault rifle.

Three people were arrested and face the following charges:

  • Jermorris Sewell
    • Maintaining a Common Nuisance
    • Neglect of a Dependent
    • Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor
  • Tamira Morgan
    • Maintaining a Common Nuisance
    • Neglect of a Dependent
    • Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor
  • “L.M.” (minor)
    • Dangerous Possession of a Firearm
