FWPD Bust 28th and 29th Meth Labs for 2014

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Thursday, the Fort Wayne Police Department Meth Suppression Unit closed what they refer to as a lengthy investigation of Meth production and use at an apartment on St. Mary's Avenue on the north west side of Fort Wayne. Officers found meth, an active one pot lab, and paraphernalia for smoking meth. 60-year-old Mason Arnold faces the following charges:

Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6

Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6

Maintaining a common Nuisance Level 6

Manufacturing Methamphetamine Level 2

Then after neutralizing that meth lab, the Meth Suppression Unit went to another apartment just two blocks away. Officers found an active one pot meth lab, a meth generator, and several items of paraphernalia. 26-year-old Amanda Lee was found in the home and faces the following charges:

Manufacture of Methamphetamine Level 2

Warrant for Dealing Meth and Maintaining a Common Nuisance issued 6/17/14


Another man, 51-year-old William Smiley, was in the home and faces the following charges:

Manufacture of Methamphetamine Level 2

Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6

Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6

Two other people were charged with misdemeanors of visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.
