FWCS to No Longer Use A-F School Grading System

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Continuing our WOWO back to school series, Fort Wayne Community Schools will no longer use the A through F grading system. Leaders at the school system have decided to stop recognizing schools based on the results of the current grading system. The school board voted 6-1 last night in favor of the resolution, which comes after the AP published emails showing former state school superintendent Tony Bennett and his staff changed the school grading formula last year to raise the grade of a school run by a campaign donor.
