FWCS files lawsuit against Juul

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Community Schools is suing an e-cigarette company.

The school district has filed a federal lawsuit that is hundreds of pages long against e-cigarette maker Juul, saying the San Francisco-based company is targeting children through marketing and its choice of flavors, according to our Partners in News at ABC 21.

Other school districts across the country have pursued similar legal action. FWCS is specifically seeking $75,000 in damages to use toward drug-prevention efforts and education.

One in three Indiana high schoolers have reported using e-cigarettes and vaping products.

Where are the parents on Juul use? Why do the taxpayers without any kids have to pay for this lawsuit? There is no end to the money grubbing from school systems.

If they were not smoking e-cigarettes they would be smoking real cigarettes. The favor has nothing to do with it. Kids like candy they grow up and still like candy. We do not need more government control of anything. I quit smoking because of e-cigarettes they are allot easier to quit then the real thing. We need to get government out of our lives and personal decisions it was never supposed to be the role of government.
