FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Community Schools could have a presence at the Electric Works development.

The school board talked about a possible classroom space on the former G.E. campus during a work session last night.

The Journal Gazette reports that while Superintendent Wendy Robinson stressed this is all just talk for now, the district could have classes focused on music and film design, robotics, urban farming, or architecture at the facility, serving about 630 high school students.

They wouldn’t be alone; Indiana Tech announced plans last December to lease space at the mixed-use district.

The board will revisit the idea Monday.
