FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man is dead after shots were fired Tuesday afternoon at an apartment near the Northcrest Shopping Center.

The shots were fired just after 4:00 p.m., at an apartment located at 4917 Northcrest Drive, that according to our partners in news at ABC 21. Offers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the residence after someone called 911.

Originally the shooting victim, a man, was said to be in critical condition, but once medics arrived on the scene the man was pronounced dead.
