Friends Honor Indiana Teen Killed In Plane Crash

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (AP) _ Friends of a central Indiana teenager who died in a Pacific Ocean airplane crash honored him as his high school's soccer team played its first home game of the season.

Dozens of people wearing white T-shirts bearing Haris Suleman's soccer jersey number 14 filled the stands at Plainfield High School for Tuesday night's game.

Sales of the shirts with the phrase “Live Like Harris'' raised money for the charities for which the 17-year-old and his father were promoting when they died in the July 22 crash.

Plainfield junior Sarah Reynolds tells WRTV that Harris had a big heart and he'll be missed.

Hiba Suleman tells The Indianapolis Star she was excited about the tribute to her brother since he had played soccer with many of his teammates for years.
