Friday is the LAST DAY for Christmas Tree Recycling

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Friday is the last day Allen County residents can recycle their Christmas trees.

The ALlen County Solid Waste Management District says Friday, January 16th is the last day real Christmas tress can be dropped off for recycling into mulch.

Before recycling, ornaments, lights, tinsel and plastic bags MUST be removed from the trees.

Wreaths are NOT accepted in the program.
