Friday is National Youth HIV and Aids Awareness Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Friday is National Youth HIV and Aids Awareness day, targeting young people about the impacts of the disease.

National Youth HIV & Aids Awareness Day is meant to remind people of all ages about the devastating effects of AIDS and the HIV Virus.

State Health Commissioner Jerome Adams reminds Hoosiers of the HIV outbreak that's devastated the families of the 89 people who were confirmed to have the virus in southeastern Indiana.
