French Lick Resort Reports Payment System Breach

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) – French Lick Resort has informed its customers about a about a possible breach of its credit card payment system.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports (http://bit.ly/1JDJThw) Tuesday the resort determined after a review that malware was introduced into the payment system and card numbers may have been compromised.

Resort officials say the breach would affect customers who visited the resort between April 23, 2014 and Jan. 21, and used a credit card.

Officials say the malware threat has been addressed and no credit cards used at the resort after Jan. 21 are believed to be at risk.

Customers with questions can call the resort at 877-664-3577. The resort is offering a year of free identity protection “for anyone who was affected by this issue.''
