Free Tax Help in Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you are 60 or older, there's help with taxes.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, is offering assistance in northeast Indiana. It's free and with no strings-attached.

The volunteers are trained by the IRS and tax-related issues of the Affordable Care Act.

The help is also available to low to moderate income taxpayers. 


Taxpayers may visit any of the following sites to take advantage of this free tax assistance service:
 
*        Adams County Libraries, Decatur and Geneva
*        Allen County Main Library and Library branches
*        Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne
*        Fort Wayne Community Center
*        St Joseph Township Community Hall
*        DeKalb Council on Aging, Auburn
*        Wells County Council on Aging, Bluffton
*        Wells County Library, Ossian
*        Whitley Count Council on Aging, Columbia City

The foundation has been offering the service for 46 years.
