Four Indiana Universities Receive High Marks for Community Service

INDIANA, (WOWO):  Four Hoosier universities have received high rankings for their community service efforts, according to the Washington Monthly College Guide. 

It ranks colleges and universities all across the country on their community service hours as students, faculty, and staff. Everything from ROTC and the Peace Corps to local volunteer hours are counted and assembled.

In the National Universities category, Notre Dame ranked 16th in the nation, Indiana State University was 25th and Purdue was placed at 33rd.

In the Master‘s Colleges category, Valparaiso ranked 4th in the country.

Indiana State also ranked 2nd in the nation in the individual category of university support for service learning.
