FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The new Fort4Fitness Fantasy of Lights 5K will help kick off the holidays in Fort Wayne Saturday night.
“It is a continued goal of Fort4Fitness to provide a fun and encouraging environment for all types of people to join in on our events. The Fantasy of Lights provides the perfect location for a festive holiday atmosphere, conducive to the gathering of family and friends,” says Carrie Reeb, Executive Director of Fort4Fitness.
Runners will gather at the Foellinger Theatre parking lot, and the 3.1-mile race begins at 6:30pm, shortly after the city’s annual Fantasy of Lights kicks off at Franke Park. Participants will run and walk the lighted pathways and complete two loops of the main area before heading back to the finish line in the Foellinger Theatre parking lot.
A post-race event will include results, awards, snacks, and music provided by WOWO’s sister station, 97.3 WMEE.
