Fort Wayne Woman Admits to Setting Apartment on Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne woman has admitted to setting her apartment complex on fire last month.

Francis Tileman was charged on Tuesday after police conducted an investigation into why she set her apartment on fire.

Tileman said she wanted to get rid of the cockroaches, but when police took a closer look, they noticed the home was full of random objects that appeared to have been stolen or hoarded for quite some time.

She was also known for bragging about the fire to other people in the complex, and the property manager told police she had plans to do it again.

Tileman now faces a felony charge.
