Lucky Duck Children’s Consignment Sale – Friday, Oct. 5 @ 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7 @ 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Lucky Duck Consignment will feature 30,000 square feet packed with Newborn-Junior sized clothing for boys and girls, plus shoes, moves, decor, bikes, books and much more. Lucky Duck also features maternity and women’s clothing sections.
Admission: Parking – $6 main lot, $10 preferred lot (cash only)

2018 Vera Bradley Foundation Tickled Pink Event – Friday, Oct. 5 @ 6-9:30 p.m.
Gather your girlfriends and enjoy a Vera Bradley behind-the-scenes experience, sweet and savory food/drinks donated by restaurants, a special Vera Bradley gift, a silent auction and more. Space is limited, registration is required. Guests must be 21+. Funds raised benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.

Wine for the Spirit 2018 – Friday, Oct. 5 @ 6-10 p.m.
Erin’s House for Grieving Children invites you to mark your calendars for the thirteenth annual Wine for the Spirit event. The evening will pair an exhilarating live and silent auction with superb wine and hor d’oeuvres – all to support a worthy cause.

Oktoberfest at Deer Park – Friday, Oct. 5 @ 7-10:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6 @ 12-11 p.m.
For a $5 cover charge, guests will receive a German Deer Park signature 5-liter stein. The event also includes bratwurst, hot dogs, German potato salad, and pretzels. Enjoy live music and a silent auction. Bring canned food. All proceeds benefit the Miss Virginia’s Food Pantry. Parking is free at USF directly across the street from Deer Park.

Fridays @ 2104 Fort Wayne with Ty Causey – Friday, Oct. 5 @ 8-11 p.m.

The Fort Wayne Youtheatre is opening their 84th season with Treasure Island. Meet Captain Billy Jones, our hero Jim, the old pirate Long John Silver and all of the motley castaways and buccaneers. Travel back to the time of sea chanties, treasure maps and a chest of gold.

Share the Trails hikes are non-interpretive walks in ACRES preserves. These casual, easy-going social outings welcome new folks to the trails and to ACRES. Free to the public, but donations are encouraged.

The concert will begin with the world premiere of an overture for the Philharmonic’s Anniversary Season by American composer Joel Puckett.
