FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – With this weekend comes Easter Sunday, and Fort Wayne has a few Easter-themed events you can attend with your family and friends.
Check out Easter in the Garden at the Botanical Conservatory this Friday, or Easter Fest at Jefferson Pointe this Saturday in the Center Courtyard.
Music fans, there are a ton of events catered to you this weekend. The Music Lovers Lounge begins its monthly series this Saturday at Calhoun Street Soups Salads and Spirits. This Sunday, you can attend the Open Acoustic Jam for free at Sweetwater.

Easter in the Garden – Friday, March 30 @ 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Play games for prizes, make crafts, pot a plant and enjoy refreshments as your children meet the Easter Bunny at the Botanical Conservatory. There will also be live animals including baby chicks, ducks, bunnies, sheep and goats. Toddlers and elementary-aged children can join the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 3-17, and children 2 years and under are free.
Easter Fest at Jefferson Pointe – Saturday, March 31 @ 12-4 p.m.
Attend Easter Fest at Jefferson Pointe this Saturday in the Center Courtyard. The event includes free visits with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon art and more.
Comedy Night with Melvin Bender – Saturday, March 31 @ 7:15-11:15 p.m.
Melvin Bender has opened for acts such as Cedric the Entertainer, Damon Wayens, Dave Coulier, D.L. Hugley and more. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door at the Fort Wayne Comedy Club.
Forever Young at the Embassy Theatre – Saturday, March 31 @ 7:30 p.m.
“Forever Young” tells the story of five best friends who discover the healing power of music. Ticket prices range from $29-$69. Purchase them at the Box Office, 125 West Jefferson Blvd., or through Ticket Master at (800) 745-3000.
Music Lovers Lounge – Saturday, March 31 @ 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
A monthly series featuring DJ’s Barrage and Polaris, playing a true variety of various music genres. Admission is $5 at Calhoun Soup Salads and Spirits.
Open Acoustic Jam – Sunday, April 1 @ 5-8 p.m.
This event reoccurs every first of the month, and is open to players of all skill levels and ages. Open Acoustic Jam is held at Sweetwater, 5501 US Hwy 30 West. Admission is free.
