Fort Wayne weekend events, July 14 – 16

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, WOWO has you covered.

The Three Rivers Festival is still on-going until Saturday night, and there are various concerts, art shows and kid-friendly activities throughout the city that are sure to interest everyone.

FWDC Summer Dance CampFriday, July 14 @ 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Located at the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, tickets are $12 per class. Enrolled participants will experience ballet, hip-hop, modern, jazz and contemporary dances.

Three Rivers Festival – CHILDREN’S FESTFriday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 @ 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Over 500 booths offering crafts, storytelling, magic, education and hands-on activities for kids. This event is free and located at IPFW, 2101 East Coliseum Boulevard.

Summer in the CityFriday, July 14 @ 6 to 9 p.m. 
Attend this free and special event that features art, music and great food at the Atrium, 111 West Berry Street Suite 211.

Opening Night at the Cinema Center: The ExceptionFriday, July 14 @ 6 to 9 p.m. 
“A riveting World War II thriller that is filled with espionage and romance in equal measure.” Catch this film at the Cinema Center, 437 East Berry Street, until Thursday, July 20.

Friday Nites Live – Summer Concert SeriesFriday, July 14 @ 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Watch Ty Causey perform at the Jefferson Pointe Courtyard Fountain this Friday. The Friday Nites Live Summer Concert Series is always free and open to the public.

Bees & BrewFriday, July 14 @ 7 to 9 p.m.
“Spend your evening exploring the honey bee through hands-on fun including beeswax candle making, sampling honey wine… or suiting up and visiting the apiary where you can see a real hive up close and personal.” You must be 21 years or older to attend this event, and tickets are $35 per person.

Three Rivers Festival Concert – ZOSOFriday, July 14 @ 7 p.m. (doors open @ 5:30)
Attend this concert at the Headwaters Park East Pavilion. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

Cars & CoffeeSaturday, July 15 @ 9 to 11 a.m.
Located at Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, 1600 South Wayne Street. “Drive your car and park in the Education & Exhibit Plaza to show it off and share it with the public or just stop by to see some excellent classics, hot rods, and other special cars.”

Three Rivers Festival Bike Night with 469 CycleSaturday, July 15 @ 1 to 11 p.m.
The first 100 bikes at the show will receive a prize.

Rock the Plaza 2017Saturday, July 15 @ 6 p.m.
Watch performances by the Jon Durnell Band, Phil’s Family Lizard, Pop N Fresh and Moser Woods for free at the Allen County Public Library.

Jazzworks! at the Botanical Conservatory Saturday, July 15 @ 7 to 10 p.m. 
Located at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-17.

Three Rivers Festival Concert – Here Come the MummiesSaturday, July 15 @ 7 p.m. (doors open @ 5)
Attend this concert at Headwaters Park East Pavillion, 333 South Clinton Street. Tickets are $8 presale, $10 day of show, and $5 for kids 12 and under.

Three Rivers Festival – FIREWORKS FINALESaturday, July 15 @ 10 p.m.
Launched from Indiana Michigan Power Center Plaza, the fireworks show ends this year’s Three Rivers Festival. Tune in to WMEE 97.3 to enjoy music programmed to the Fireworks Finale.

Diana Ross – Foellinger Theater Concert SeriesSunday, July 16 @ 7 p.m.
Witness Diana Ross perform at the Foellinger Outdoor Theater, 3411 Sherman Boulevard. Tickets range from $59 to $149 with a $6 transaction fee.
