FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ An official from Fort Wayne’s VA Medical Center says it is working to restore its reputation after problems caused it to suspend inpatient care last year.
A crowd of about 50 people attended a forum held Tuesday evening by an American Legion task force visiting the clinic this week.
Clinic public affairs officer Sheryl Grubb told the audience that it is trying to improve services and communication.
The center has restored inpatient care for complex medical conditions and chemotherapy but hasn’t set plans for reopening its intensive care unit.
