Fort Wayne United FC sending seven to college

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Under-18 Fort Wayne United FC Girls Academy has produced seven soccer players who will be taking their talents to college.

The seven players will be honored with a college signing day ceremony on Wednesday, February 3rd at The Plex South on Engle Road at 6 p.m.

Here is who is moving on to the next level:

Lorah Pund – Senior at Carroll High School; Signing with Eastern Kentucky

Elizabeth Van Wormer – Senior at Warsaw High School; Signing with Grace College

Gabrielle Mann – Senior at Jay County High School; Signing with IPFW

Hannah Tkacz – Senior at Leo High School; Signing with Middle Tennessee State University

Emily Gunsett – Senior at Bellmont High School; Signing with Morehead State University

Amber Hoot – Senior at Carroll High School; Signing with Middle Tennessee State University

Alexa Siegel – Senior at Bishop Dwenger High School; Signing with University of Saint Francis
