Fort Wayne Teenager Charged as Adult in Burglary Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One of the two teenagers who burglarized a home on Lillie Street in Fort Wayne earlier this month will be charged as an adult.

According to the Journal Gazette, 16-year-old Quavon Lashawn Graham was charged as an adult by Allen County prosecutors on Monday with felony counts of robbery and burglary, along with a misdemeanor count of resisting law enforcement.

Graham and another teenager, who's name has not been released, broke into the Lillie St. home on May 18th with guns, and left with a 32-inch television, an Xbox 360 and video games, a tablet and smartphone, a purse, and cigarettes and liquor. They also robbed the two women inside the home.

Concerned for the safety of her young child who was sleeping inside, the homeowner tried to shut the door on the teens. They still made off with the items and took off across Rudisill Blvd.

Both teens were apprehended and taken to the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center.
