FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne is a good place for millennials to settle down and purchase houses, according to Business Insider.
Realtor.com recently put together a list of the “hottest zip codes” in 2018, which includes places where residents, especially millennials, are paid well and housing is affordable.
Fort Wayne’s 46815 zip code ranked 16th on the list.
According to the study, the median listing price in the 46815 area falls around $142,618. The millennial home ownership rate is currently at 62.7%.
In Fort Wayne, the 2018 millennial median household income is $63,227.
To determine the best locations, Realtor.com looked at homes that sell in an average of 20 days, and have four times more views online than the average Realtor.com listing.
Residents in the top areas are employed at higher rates and earn more money than the national median.

- Colorado Springs, Colorado (80922)
- Watauga, Texas (76148)
- Castro Valley, California (94546)
- Peabody, Massachusetts (01960)

Fort Wayne has some of the best home prices in the USA and a lot of jobs available. Makes sense to me we would be topping the list!
