Fort Wayne police search for robbery suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is searching for a robbery suspect.

Police were called to the Fifth Third Bank at 6063 Lima Road at about 1 p.m. While en route, police learned a man walked into the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding cash, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

The suspect is about 6-foot-2 inches tall and ran away. A K-9 attempted to track the suspect. He got away with cash.

Several people has identified the suspect as Joshua Dale Bursey through Crime Stoppers, according to police.

Anyone with information about Bursey’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867. The robbery is still under investigation.
