FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting that happened last night on the city’s south side.

Police spokesman Michael Joyner tells WOWO news officers were called to a home on Lafayette Street, about a block south of East Pontiac Street, just after 10pm. First the caller told police he shot himself, then said he was shot while standing in his yard by someone driving by in a silver car headed north on Lafayette.

He had a bullet wound in his left shin and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The man is reportedly in good condition.
