Fort Wayne Man Pleads Guilty to January Armed Robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The accused gunman of an armed robbery that took place last January plead guilty yesterday to a lesser felony count.

According to the Journal Gazette, 22-year-old Darrell Fourte of Fort Wayne is accused of forcing another man to lie on the ground at gunpoint. The man told police he didn't know Fourte when he was forced to the ground and watched him take his phone and cellphone.

Fourte plead guilty to theft as part of a plea deal with Allen County prosecutors.

He faces up to three years in prison and will be sentenced next month.
