Fort Wayne Man Pleads Guilty after Threatening to Open Fire at GM Plant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man has pleaded guilty to one count of intimidation after threatening to enter the Fort Wayne General Motors Plant and start shooting.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 34-year-old Joseph Guzman Jr. pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon. Police say, Guzman told an insurance telemarketer that he was going to shoot a gun at the GM Plant.


In 2012, Guzman was fired from his subcontracting job with Caravan Knights, a cleaning company that provides services for the GM plant. According to court documents, Guzman was very upset about being fired.

He will be sentenced August 31st.
