Fort Wayne man gets 15 years for sexual misconduct with minor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man will spend the next 15 years in prison for trying to have sex with a teenager.

On Monday, 24-year-old Leon Harris was sentenced in Allen Superior Court to 20 years. He’ll serve 15 years in prison and spend the last five years on probation, according to the News-Sentinel.

Harris pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor on March 31. Eight other sexual misconduct and child molesting charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.

Harris admitted to fondling and attempting to have sex with a teenager between April and June in 2014.
