Fort Wayne man arrested for pointing gun at vehicle on I-69

ASHLEY, Ind. (WOWO): A 74-year-old Fort Wayne man was arrested Tuesday morning for an apparent case of road rage.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called shortly before 9 a.m. by a driver who said a man has pointed a gun at their vehicle as they drove past his car just north of mile marker 341 northeast of Ashley.

Officers found the vehicle shortly afterward, and found a loaded .45 caliber handgun in the driver’s seat.

They arrested Harold Burgess on felony charges of Pointing a Firearm and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon. He’s being held at the Steuben County Jail.
