FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 30-year-old Fort Wayne man has a warrant out for his arrest after he allegedly skipped his trial.

Germarcus D. Crawford was set to have a trail on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in Allen County Superior Court. He is charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of rape, according to the News-Sentinel. If he is convicted of all three charges, he could go to jail for up to 24 years.

He’s accused of going into a 14-year-old girl’s room sometime in the overnight hours of Aug. 27-28, 2015. He started talking to her while she was sleeping, according to court documents. She told him she wanted to sleep, but he pulled her off the bed and performed a sex act on her, according to documents.

Crawford was waiting in the courtroom on Wednesday morning, but left about an hour before the trial was set to begin.
