Fort Wayne man accused of raping two people sought by police

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man accused of raping two different people is being sought by police.

Raul Briseno, 25, is charged with one count of criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, one count of rape by force, one count of rape when victim is unaware, two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor committed by a person at least 21 years old.

On March 19, Briseno rented a hotel room where he stayed the night with the victim and other people, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by the News-Sentinel.

The victim said she suddenly felt very tired and fell asleep at the hotel room. She woke in the early morning and Briseno was on top of her. She told police she told him to stop but then fell back asleep, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Two witnesses told police they saw Briseno crush a pill and one witness saw him put it in the victim’s drink that night at the hotel.

Briseno also is accused of raping a teenager about five times in rented hotel rooms between March 15 and March 15, the News-Sentinel reported. He allegedly knew the victim was underage and told her that “age was just a number.”

During at least one of the times Briseno was with the victim, the News-Sentinel reported that he had illegal drugs with him and threatened the teenager with a gun to tell police the drugs were hers if they were caught by police.
