Fort Wayne installs new “Blue Star” banners

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne has installed a new set of banners along West Jefferson Boulevard to recognize city residents and city employees who are in the military and actively deployed.

Those recognized include the 122nd Fighter Wing of the Indiana Air National Guard, U.S. Navy Petty Officers Jessica Snyder and Liam Fazio, U.S. Air Force Airman Eric Stuckey, U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Jason Waters, U.S. Marine Corps Major Jeffrey Studebaker, U.S. Army Specialist Phillip Luna, and U.S. Army Captain Todd Miguel.

Mayor Tom Henry started the Blue Star Banner program in May 2014. If you know someone who should be recognized by the program, click here.
